Big box stores and online shopping have been dictating trends and limiting the choices people can make when decorating their homes or businesses. Most people know that if they expand their search and go to specialty stores, they may find more choices, but the time and effort required is more than most people are willing to give or can give.
There are times when choosing an easy, off-the-shelf option is fine. However, when opening a retail business with intense competition, the last thing you want to do is buy something off the shelf for convenience and sacrifice the edge you would otherwise have. Everyone in business knows that having a superior product is less than half of the battle. The real struggle is positioning yourself so people will see your product and believe yours is superior.
This is where Barissi comes in. We are not limited by what you can find on a shelf. We are a boutique vendor, which is a fancy way of saying we have the flexibility and willingness to step outside the box that larger vendors are unwilling. Those vendors tend to remain inside the box and inside their comfort zone. We are willing to see the potential you see to create a space that will set you apart from the competition.
The definition of “bespoke” is something made for a particular customer. When you have a design to create a specific look and feel, you don’t want to be limited by what some random vendor may have in stock. We see what you are looking for and go out of our way to create fixtures that meet or exceed your expectations.
The one thing we never want to tell our clients is that something is impossible. We provide custom fabrication and design to bring your ideas to life.
In the world of Improv, the trick is never to say “no.” You always want to say, “yes, and….” As a boutique vendor, we don’t like to say “no.” (Unless the answer is actually “no.”) Our goal is to say “yes!” and with our bespoke fixtures and custom millwork, we get to say “yes” far more often than the other guys.
